Reasons:
1. Mr Holden and Ms Te Rangi lived at 27 Bridge Street, Eketehuna from March
2019 until 13 December 2019. The tenancy was terminated by Tribunal order

on that date on the basis of neighbourhood disturbances, threatening behaviour
towards the landlord and other antisocial conduct.
2. When the landlord inspected the property after the tenants had left, he
discovered that there were huge amounts of rubbish left behind, and serious
damage to the property. It appears that one of the tenants had taken to the
walls with an axe, or similar instrument. Walls, floors, windows, doors and a
deck were intentionally damaged. All carpet had been removed. Curtains were
damaged or missing. An oven was destroyed. The garage doors were
damaged. The lawn was deeply gouged from a car doing donuts or burnouts in
