  • Tyler was to move in on December 3rd. Tells me he has been held by the NZ Police in the cell over night. Who were called in to their emergency accommodation by the children’s mother for protection. He finally moves in a couple of weeks later.
  • Tyler paid 2 weeks rent in advance. No rent paid there after
  • Tyler through his family ask on the Eketahuna Community Face Book page for help to supply furniture for their home as they had nothing. The local people helped out
  • Tribunal Order
    1. The tenancy of Tyler Knight at 35 Bridge Street, Eketahuna,
    Tararua District 4900 is terminated, and possession is granted to N W Limited, at 11:59pm on Friday 18 February 2022.
    2. Tyler Knight must pay N W Limited $2,270.44 immediately,
    calculated as shown in the table below:

  • Tyler had unauthorized friends paying $200.00 a week. Where is this rent money
  • Privacy prevents gaining information about WINZ payments during his tenancy. Was WINZ paying him or not?
  • Mother of the children visits from Palmerston North with children on a regular basis
  • Mother of the Children enters with her mother a tenancy agreement in Palmerston North. Mother takes out a trespass order against Tyler
  • Food and daily costs are meet by her benefit payments
  • Tyler informs me he has just purchase a note book/computer
  • Mother of the Children advertises on Eketahuna Community Face Book site stating the following. “Would anyone have some spare food? Me and my partner have literally no food, can pick up around eketahuna”

Conclusion:

I rented my rental property out to Tyler on compassionate grounds. He had 2 young children who were stuck in emergency accommodation. I was assured by both extended families members they would provide support. These two need a second chance. Eketahuna Community Real Estate

Hi Jane in your Eketahuna Community Face Book support the tenant campaign can you help them by paying off the outstanding rent money as soon as possible. Why don’t you show the same compassion as I did to help a young couple. How are you going to return the household goods the Eketahuna Community gave in good faith. What about feeding them.
